is a new, sustainable mixed-use development located within Carlsbad Village just steps to transit, restaurants, shopping and world class beaches. The project will replace the former union bank that closed in 2023 and includes 50 for sale condominium units and approximately 3,700 square feet of ground floor neighborhood retail space in one five story building located at 840 Carlsbad Village Dr. Residential Units range in size from 937 – 2,286 square feet and provide 1-3 bedrooms.
The project includes 8 units of affordable housing reserved for moderate and very low-income households. 51 parking spaces will be provided for all residential units on the ground floor, including electric vehicle charging stations.
The project is compliant with the City of Carlsbad General Plan and the Village and Barrio Master Plan, both of which designate this site for mixed-use development. The permits sought to implement the project include a coastal development permit, site development permit, and tentative tract map.
